How do I make a submission Private or Public?

Solution

Follow the steps below to make your submission private (not searchable on SSRN)

To make a private paper public:

  1. Sign in to SSRN.
  2. Select "My Papers" from the left-hand navigation
  3. Scroll down to the Privately Available Papers section of your My Papers page.
  4. Identify the paper you want to make public and click on the "Revise" button in the Revise column
  5. In the Submission Form click on the "Availability" section
  6. You can specify if you want the paper to be searchable and whether or not you want it to appear on your My Author page. If you want it to be public select "Yes"
  7. Click on the "Submit Revision" button in the Status box

Once your revision has been processed, the paper will be made public.
