 What is My Library?

Solution

My Library is your virtual filing cabinet where you can track and organize your favorite research content. There are two ways you can access your My Library page by clicking on My Library at the top of the user's home screen or by clicking "My Library" on the left menu of your User HQ Welcome page.

There are three tabs on the My Library page:

By default, the "MyFavorites" tab is open when you first navigate to the My Library page. This tab is a virtual folder of papers created for you to store your favorite research on SSRN. The papers will remain downloadable unless copyright or other SSRN policies have been violated by the submitter. To add a paper to the "MyFavorites" tab, either select "Add to My Library" from a paper´s abstract page, or select the "Add" button from your "Download History" tab.

PLEASE NOTE: This tab will NOT show all of the papers you have purchased or downloaded from SSRN. Please check the Download History tab for this.

The "Download History" tab contains a history of all of your downloads of free and fee papers. Unlike the MyFavorites tab, these free papers are available for download only if they remain in SSRN´s eLibrary. Purchased papers will remain downloadable unless copyright or other SSRN policies have been violated by the submitter.

You can always access a previously downloaded or purchased paper, email the PDF to yourself or email the paper URL to a friend from either of these tabs.

The "Jobs and Announcements" tab contains a history of any jobs or announcements you’ve created. SSRN distributes Professional Announcements and Job Postings eJournals which reach scholars, practitioners, and other professionals involved with negotiations research and practice (academic and corporate) around the world. SSRN also includes the announcement or job on our site, which is accessed at no charge by individuals worldwide. Your announcement or job postings will remain on the SSRN site for up to 3 months or until you ask us to remove it. Event announcements remain on the Web until the event date.

If you need further assistance, submit a Ticket, and the Support Team will gladly assist.
