Can I get an RSS or Data feed from SSRN?

Solution

Yes! RSS feeds are available.

RSS is an abbreviation for Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary. It is a standard for distributing updates to a web site on a regular basis. Most news organizations have RSS feeds, and SSRN has created them for all SSRN authors and Rankings. SSRN has created RSS Feeds for:

All SSRN authors. This feed is updated when the author:

  • adds a new submission
  • revises a submission
  • makes a change to any information on their author page

Activity is captured for the previous 12 months

Ranking RSS feed icon can be found on certain ranking pages. This feed is updated when the rankings are updated for:

  • some top author rankings
  • most downloaded papers
  • some top organizations

How do I use an RSS feed?

You can see the RSS feed in your browser by clicking on the icon: (the RSS XML link) or follow it by dragging/copying the icon from an author's home page or top of the Ranking page to an RSS aggregator.

RSS news aggregators are generally free and relatively easy to use. To find a selection of RSS news aggregators, search for "RSS aggregator" on Google.

Can my institution receive an XML feed?

Will SSRN partner with a Third-party for content distribution?

From time to time, SSRN may partner with commercial or non-commercial third parties to distribute or redistribute the submitted content. SSRN works with such partners to enhance partner services and to extend the reach and impact of SSRN content.
