Link Sharing and SSRN

Linking to SSRN on External Sites:

You are welcome to share the link to your SSRN papers or author page. We do not hold copyright to any of your works on our site, so you do not need SSRN's permission to share them.  Some authors find it beneficial to include a link to their author page or papers in their email signature or on a personal website to spread the word about their works on SSRN.

Linking to External Sites from SSRN:

SSRN does not allow external links to appear on our abstract pages, nor do we exchange links with outside websites. This is SSRN policy due to our inability to provide support for external links, as well as security concerns for our users as well as ourselves. Authors are free to add external links to their PDFs.

Feel free to contact us at with any additional questions or concerns about links and SSRN.

Or visit our FAQ page for more information about using external links on SSRN.
